Gucci puts Samuel Watson’s face — and frames — in sharp focus

Get your glasses now! Gucci Fall 2026 eyewear stars Samuel Watson, putting sleek, compact frames front and center without losing any of the House’s personality.
Photographed by Mark Seliger with art direction by Riccardo Zanola, the campaign keeps the staging restrained and lets the eyewear do the talking. Watson appears first in black rectangular optical frames, a gray checked blazer and red top finished with a Double G pendant — polished, but not stiff.

The idea is simple but effective: eyewear as personality. The Fall/Winter 2026 campaign moves between optical glasses and sunglasses, using the same suspended, almost contemplative mood to make each pair feel less like an accessory added at the end and more like the thing defining the entire look.
Watson’s second look shifts darker, pairing rectangular black sunglasses with a black leather shirt jacket. Same face, completely different energy. That is the smart part of the campaign — Gucci does not need a pile of styling tricks to prove the point. Change the frames, change the mood.

Watson previously appeared in Gucci’s 2026 Monte Carlo campaign, so this return feels less like a one-off booking and more like a developing relationship with the House. Here, though, the whole visual language tightens around the face. Sleek, compact, stylish — exactly what a strong eyewear campaign should be.
