GmbH stepped into its Winter/Spring 2027 chapter with a catwalk that does what the Berlin label does best: turns history, politics, protection, and sharp silhouette into a runway mood with actual backbone.
The collection marks ten years of GmbH, and the anniversary does not arrive as some sleepy brand birthday cake moment. Instead, the show looks back at the creative and cultural histories that shaped Berlin fashion — including the city’s largely forgotten couture lineage before that world was fractured under the Nazi regime.

According to the show notes highlighted by FY Magazine, founders Benjamin Huseby and Serhat Işık looked into Berlin’s archive of designers, tailors, and fashion houses that once stood with global reach before being erased, seized, exiled, or forgotten. That tension runs right through the collection: a history lesson, yes, but one with shoulder line, purpose, and thee correct amount of steel in the stare.
GmbH’s familiar codes are still there — sleek protective sportswear, precise construction, and clothes that understand the body as both armor and message. But this season, the tailoring also pulls from Berlin’s couture past, including archival references connected to Clara Böhm, whose fashion house operated from 1912 to 1939.
The collection also brings in major collaboration energy. UGG returned as the exclusive footwear partner, with styles including the Otzo Clog, Shep Loafer, Zora Ballet Flat, Classic Distort Boot, and Tasman Flex reworked with GmbH hammer studs and industrial shine. ic! berlin opened its eyewear archive, while CC-Steding brought silver chain work into the mix.
The show took place during Berlin Fashion Week as part of Intervention by Reference Studios, and the result is not nostalgia. It is reclamation with seams. GmbH is not simply looking back; it is putting erased fashion memory back on the runway and letting it walk like it owns the floor.
