The collection unfolded inside Givenchy’s home at 3 avenue George V, across a triptych of rooms shaped around different parts of the wardrobe. Not a runway scream. More like a private conversation with the new Givenchy man — dressed, redressed, and given a little couture tension.

Burton’s language here is exacting without feeling frozen. The house codes show up through double-breasted tailoring, wide-legged trousers, white cotton shirts, bombers, perfectos, and pieces that feel like personal treasures instead of styling noise.
