Fresh Faced Samuel Curtis Makes Selvedge Denim Look Effortless

Rising fresh faced model Samuel Curtis struts Pepe Jeans’ “Italian Selvedge” capsule, putting the focus exactly where a good denim story should: cut, cloth and the details that get better the closer you look.
For fall-winter 2026, Pepe Jeans goes back to denim fundamentals with a small premium capsule made in partnership with Italian mill Candiani. The lineup centers on the straight-leg Dalston jean and a selvedge trucker jacket, with Samuel keeping the styling clean enough for the denim itself to do the talking.

The Dalston arrives in three selvedge variations: a rigid deep indigo, an organic-cotton version with a subtle left-hand twill, and a medium wash. Pepe Jeans currently lists the selvedge Dalston as a straight-fit, mid-rise jean, keeping the silhouette simple and letting the fabric carry the premium move.
Then comes the trucker. The capsule’s rigid version uses 13 oz denim and vintage-inspired pleating, bringing a little old-school structure without turning the whole thing into workwear cosplay. That restraint is the point. No over-styled heritage sermon. No costume. Just good dark denim doing what good dark denim does.

The campaign styling works because it does not try to overpower any of that. White tees, bare skin, deep indigo and clean studio framing keep pulling your eye back to the construction: copper-toned hardware, back-pocket stitching, the leather patch, rolled cuffs and that dense selvedge edge.
And Samuel is exactly the right fresh face for it. Rather than posing the clothes into submission, he gives the capsule the easy, slightly lived-in attitude that rigid denim needs. The result feels less like “premium denim” trying to announce itself and more like the kind of jeans and jacket that quietly become the pieces you keep reaching for.
That is the best part of this Pepe Jeans move: the Italian craftsmanship is there, the Candiani pedigree is there, and the details are there — but none of it needs a megaphone.
Fresh faced, deep indigo and cut clean. Samuel Curtis gives Pepe Jeans’ Italian Selvedge capsule exactly the kind of unfussy strut it deserves.
