Erik Kettschick Brings a Smoldering Dior Summer to Gentleman Italia

Smoldering model Erik Kettschick slips into Dior and heads for the Italian coast in a new Gentleman Magazine Italia editorial photographed by Andrea Varani.

Shot in Forte dei Marmi, Italy, the fashion story gives Dior’s menswear a relaxed resort setting, moving Kettschick between quiet beaches, striped bathing cabins and flower-lined paths rather than keeping all that tailoring trapped indoors.

Fashion editor Gioia Carozzi styled the spread, pulling together floral silk separates, lightweight tailoring, striped knitwear, shorts, sandals and Dior bags. The result feels polished without becoming precious — expensive summer clothes that are actually allowed to see some sun.

Kettschick, represented by I Love Models and Promod Model Agency, settles easily into the scenery — cycling through the grounds, reclining by the water and taking Dior right onto the shoreline. There is an old-school Italian resort glamour running through the images, but Varani keeps the mood casual enough that nothing feels overly staged.

With Jonathan Anderson now shaping Dior Men, the wardrobe mixes refinement with a little more playfulness, and Forte dei Marmi gives those pieces exactly the right place to breathe. We are here for the clothes, of course. Kettschick looking this good in them certainly does not hurt.
