Just in time for that post-Halloween verve and energy, the final trailer for the upcoming—and simply badass-looking—Predator: Badlands has officially landed.
Elle Fanning and fresh-faced actor Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi co-star in this latest installment of the iconic action/horror franchise, directed by Dan Trachtenberg (Prey, 10 Cloverfield Lane). The film hits theaters November 7.
Scope out the official synopsis:
Set in the future on a deadly remote planet, Badlands follows a young Predator outcast (Schuster-Koloamatangi) who finds an unlikely ally in Thia (Fanning), a legless Weyland-Yutani synth, as he embarks on a treacherous journey in search of the ultimate adversary.
This time, the Predator isn’t the villain—it’s the hero. And Elle? She’s not just one character—she’s multiple androids, each with their own eerie charm and mechanical menace. The trailer teases fog-drenched landscapes, modular plasma cannons, and a fully developed Predator language, crafted by the linguist behind Avatar’s Na’vi.
Psst—turn off the lights for immediate ambiance. If you’re scared of the dark, press that lamp switch now. Otherwise, let the shadows do their thing.
