September brings Star Wars, Toy Story, ballroom drama and plenty more

Get your sneak peek. And of course, mark your calendars on us! Disney+ and Hulu are rolling into September 2026 with one of those oddly mixed streaming months where Star Wars, Toy Story, ballroom competition, FX horror, live music and college football all end up sharing the same calendar.
The biggest Disney+ arrivals include Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu on September 2, the two-night Dancing with the Stars Season 35 premiere on September 15 and 16, and Toy Story 5 later in the month. Hulu, meanwhile, brings back Chad Powers, launches FX’s The Drop: A Snowfall Saga, and unleashes the three-episode premiere of American Horror Story: 13.

The Mandalorian and Grogu kick off Disney+’s September slate
September 2 is especially heavy on Star Wars. Along with the Disney+ streaming premiere of Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, the service adds LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian and the official Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu Podcast.

Dancing with the Stars takes over two nights in mid-September
Dancing with the Stars Season 35 gets a two-night launch on September 15 and 16, streaming live on Disney+ at 8 p.m. ET. Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough return as hosts, with Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli back at the judges’ table.
September also gives sports fans a bigger reason to keep Disney+ open on Saturdays, with ESPN College GameDay and two live college football games becoming part of the weekly streaming mix.

Hulu brings FX drama, horror and a very busy September too
On the Hulu side, Chad Powers Season 2 premieres September 3, followed by FX’s The Drop: A Snowfall Saga on September 8. Made in Korea Season 2 continues through the month, while R.J. Decker Season 2 premieres September 16.
Then things get appropriately spooky on September 24 when FX’s American Horror Story: 13 launches with a three-episode premiere.
