Blondie are a New York band whose collision of punk, new wave, disco, pop and early hip-hop made them one of the defining acts to emerge from the downtown 1970s scene. Formed in 1974 around Debbie Harry and Chris Stein, the group broke internationally with Parallel Lines and classics including “Heart of Glass,” “Call Me,” “The Tide Is High” and “Rapture.” After reuniting in the 1990s, Blondie continued recording and touring.
