A$AP Rocky is an American rapper from Harlem whose music and visual style helped define a more fashion-conscious, psychedelic branch of 2010s hip-hop. Born Rakim Mayers, he emerged through the A$AP Mob collective and broke through with the 2011 mixtape LIVE.LOVE.A$AP. Albums including LONG.LIVE.A$AP, AT.LONG.LAST.A$AP, TESTING and 2026’s Don’t Be Dumb expanded his mix of Southern rap influence, cloud-rap atmosphere and experimental production.
