In Coyote vs. Acme, Kelly plays Dottie Jones, joining a cast that includes Will Forte, John Cena, Lana Condor, Tone Bell and the most relentlessly unlucky customer in cartoon history: Wile E. Coyote.
The movie’s road to theaters became almost as famous as the movie itself. Warner Bros. initially shelved the completed project, triggering a wave of backlash before Ketchup Entertainment eventually acquired the distribution rights and gave the film a proper theatrical release. So yes — getting to casually promote it on morning television in 2026 is already something of a victory lap.
And because Martha Kelly never seems to appear anywhere without somebody eventually bringing up Euphoria, the conversation naturally wandered there too. Kelly remains part of HBO’s third season as Laurie, with the series having returned in 2026 after one very long gap between seasons.
That contrast is part of what makes Kelly so much fun to watch. She can move from Looney Tunes absurdity to the deeply unnerving stillness of Euphoria without ever abandoning the same understated delivery that has become her calling card.
