“McGirr isn’t new to the fashion game. Previously, he held the position of Head of Ready-to-Wear at JW Anderson. His journey at JW Anderson began in 2020 when he took the reins of the men’s collections, eventually adding women’s wear to his portfolio. Before that, he worked as a Women’s Designer for Dries Van Noten in Antwerp. He also spent four years at Uniqlo’s creative hubs in Tokyo and Paris, where he contributed to the men’s collections under the guidance of Christophe Lemaire. His career kicked off with roles at Burberry and Vogue Hommes Japan.
A native of Dublin, Ireland, McGirr is a Central Saint Martins graduate, earning his Master of Arts in Fashion in 2014.”
