Jenna Ortega is more than a lady in red — she is now putting Dior’s new Rouge Dior On Stage Ink Blur Matte through its paces. The actress fronts the latest Dior Beauty push for the transfer-proof liquid lipstick, bringing her own cool, slightly mischievous energy to a product built around blurred color, buildable intensity and a very polished matte finish.
The new Rouge Dior On Stage Ink Blur Matte was created under Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director for Dior Makeup, and arrives in a range of 10 matte shades. Dior describes the formula as airy and comfortable, with blurring gels, oils and pigments designed to give the lips a soft-focus finish rather than the flat, heavy feel people sometimes associate with matte lipstick.

Ortega is shown wearing shade 558 Rosewood Star, one of the 10 shades in the Blur Matte lineup. Dior also positions the formula as highly customizable: one layer gives a softer veil of color, while additional layers push the pigment into something bolder. In other words, it is not meant to force one finish on everybody.
That flexibility is probably the smartest part of the launch. Ortega is an especially clean fit for this particular Dior mood.
