Rêve Takes “Devour” From Release Day Straight to a Toronto Crowd
Rêve did not let “Devour” sit quietly on streaming platforms for very long. The Montréal-born, Toronto-based dance-pop singer released the new single on June 26, 2026 via Physical Presents — then stepped onto the FIFA Fan Festival Toronto stage the very next day and gave the song its fresh-out-the-box live treatment.
The performance footage supplied to INYIM identifies the June 27 set as the first live performance of “Devour.” And yes, she sounds amazing here: clear, controlled and very much like a true live pop performer who knows how to carry a dance record without letting the production do all the work.
We last checked in with Rêve when the “Devour” video arrived. Seeing the song move almost immediately from its recorded world into a live setting gives it another little jolt altogether.

One Day After Release, “Devour” Was Already Living Onstage
The setting was properly huge. FIFA Fan Festival Toronto served as the city’s official public fan destination during the 2026 World Cup, taking over Fort York National Historic Site and The Bentway with match broadcasts, food, cultural programming and live entertainment from June 11 through July 19.
Rêve landed on the June 27 program alongside Kardinal Offishall Presents: Soundclash Society, while fans gathered for that day’s World Cup action. For a singer whose music has always understood the assignment when it comes to movement, clubs and big communal pop moments, it is pretty much an ideal place to introduce a brand-new dance track to a crowd.
“Devour” itself clocks in at a lean 2:37, but live it gets the thing a studio file cannot give you: bodies in front of the stage, a singer having to sell every line in real time and that instant little test of whether a new song actually has legs outside the headphones.
From what we hear here, Rêve passes that test rather easily.

For Rêve, it is another reminder of what has always made the project work. The records may come wrapped in sleek dance-pop production, but underneath the programming is Briannah Donolo — a singer who can actually step in front of a live crowd and deliver the thing.
