Let’s close our eyes and transport back when Madonna unleashed her monster juggernaut seminal album, Confessions On A Dancefloor (2005), led by first single “Hung Up.”

Today continues her 20-year Confessions milestone celebration with the latest yummy treat: the “Hung Up” Behind-the-Scenes music video. Directed by Johan Renck (the same visionary behind the original clip’s neon-sweat disco fever).

This BTS release ties back to the larger anniversary rollout, where Madonna’s been spotlighting Confessions visuals and performances that cemented her reign as the Queen of the Dancefloor.

Dig out the OG debut view of sneak peeks from 2005’s “Hung Up”—a track built on that iconic ABBA sample, a neon-synth rush that defined the era. (Fun fact: the album dropped November 15, 2005 via Warner Bros., instantly topping charts worldwide.)

What’s your favorite Confessions memory—was it the neon sweat of “Hung Up,” the tour, or the album drop itself?
