Yes that’s right. The 2025 MTV Video Music Awards will make its debut on CBS.
They shall still air on MTV as per usual, but an expansion of the show’s regular live simulcast brings Paramount global broadcast network CBS and its streaming service Paramount+ into the mix.
The awards show, as always shall celebrate the best music videos of the year. A one-hour live pre-show will air across as well.

The 2025 VMAs will air live from the UBS Arena, on Sunday Sept. 7 at 8:00-11:00 PM ET/5:00- PM.
