What makes this extraordinary is that it’s ahead of the release of Season 3, of the Netflix smash series. It’s like if a singer announced their new album just a day after releasing a fresh one. So this greenlit of a Season 4 is exciting.
Neflix spilled in a press release: “Kate (Keri Russell), Hal Wyler (Rufus Sewell), and the rest of the political power players will be back for more stately homes and state secrets.”
The third season of the series will see Bradley Whitford join the cast as Todd Penn, the husband of Allison Janney’s President Grace Penn.
The third season arrives on Netflix later this fall of 2025.
Here’s the official synopsis: “In the midst of an international crisis, a career diplomat lands in a high-profile job she’s unsuited for, with tectonic implications for her marriage and her political future.”
