Allison Janney and Bradley Whitford Stir Up More Madness in “The Diplomat” Season 4 The Emmy-winning duo are officially upped to series regulars for the next season of Netflix’s political thriller, The Diplomat, which begins production this fall.
Janney and Whitford appear as guest stars in Season 3, premiering October 16 on Netflix. Janney reprises her role as Grace Penn, who ascends to the presidency following the death of President Rayburn. Whitford makes his Diplomat debut as Todd Penn, Grace’s husband and the newly minted First Gentleman.
