There are artist sightings… and then there are artist sightings.
Lady Miss Kier — yes, that Lady Miss Kier, the voice and visual lightning bolt behind Deee-Lite — just made an online re-entrance via SoundCloud with a brand-new upload titled “SUMMER 2025 MIX DJ Lady Miss Kier.”
And look: we don’t want to be dramatic, but after a long absence from the web (and basically any public, in-person pop-ups), this feels like a flare shot into the night sky. She’s alive, she’s mixing, and she’s reminding everyone exactly why dance music has an “icon” tier.

What she uploaded
SoundCloud lists the mix as House (with “Gospel House” on the cover art), published December 30, 2025.
It’s also a full-on journey set — 2 hours, 18 minutes of club-ready motion.
If you grew up on Deee-Lite’s 90’s era, hearing her pop back up in DJ mode is a nice reminder: Kier’s always been built for the dancefloor, not the timeline.
The part that made us gasp: she’s in the comments
In the comments, one listener essentially begged her to come to LA and suggested they had the perfect gig to book her for — and SoundCloud shows that original comment from naturalhigh714 right on the post.
Then — and this is the “oh, we’re so back” moment — Kier replied directly:
“@naturalhigh714: which spot ? i may be out there in Feb”
So yes, Los Angeles: maybe February. Don’t play with us, Kier.

Why this matters (beyond nostalgia)
Deee-Lite didn’t just have a hit — they helped bottle that late-80s/early-90s club universe into pop form, and Kier was the charisma engine right up front. A surprise mix drop in 2025/2026 isn’t just fan service — it’s a living signal that the source is still plugged in.
Press play. Let your apartment become Studio 54’s weirdo cousin. And if she really does touch down in LA… we’ll be watching.
Deee-Lite fans—where were you when “Groove Is in the Heart” took over? First time you heard it, best club memory, wildest outfit moment… drop your Deee-Lite story in the comments (and tell us what you want from a Lady Miss Kier comeback set).
