The Sugababes performed live at the Deutscher Radiopreis 2025 in Hamburg, Germany, delivering a stellar set that blended the now with the nostalgic. They lit up the stage with their fresh single “Shook” and threw it back with their 2000s classic “Push the Button”—a performance that reminded us why they’re still pop royalty.

This annual event celebrates the art of radio—a medium that might feel a little old school, but still holds a special place in our hearts. Especially when we’re on the road, in the car, with a real voice speaking to us in real time.

Need a quick refresher? Broadcast radio is “the distribution of audio content, such as music, news, and talk, to a wide audience using electromagnetic radio waves transmitted from a central location to receivers.” First invented by Reginald Fessenden in 1900, he went on to conduct the world’s first public radio broadcast—transmitting music and speech on Christmas Eve, 1906.
And now, we here at INYIM Media are proud to continue that legacy with the launch of our digital online radio station. It’s a sonic playground for everything under and above musical grounds—indie and mainstream, from the 1920s to 2025, and all the future sounds unfolding now.
So keep on keeping on with all things broadcasting radio. It’s not just a format—it’s a feeling.
