According to spies and sources who were under the same roof stated that: “There were gifts, birthday desserts and lots of clapping. It was so cute and magnetic”
Carol was on quite a roll having attended a play the prior evening where Burnett was said to have got a huge standing ovation as she took her seat at Joel Grey’s production of ‘Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish.”
Afterward, its producer Mister Grey a lifelong friend of Burnett’s took her backstage, where the cast serenaded her with “Happy Birthday”!
