Forget Looney Tunes’ Sylvester — there’s a real‑life feline star stealing the spotlight in Wichita Falls, Texas, and his name is also Sylvester.
According to his owner, the adventure began while they were strolling through Smith’s Gardentown when startled employees suddenly announced they’d spotted a rat. Before anyone could blink, tail swishing and instincts firing, Sylvester leaped out of his owner’s arms like a furry missile on a mission.

He dashed across the shop, jumping over freshly potted rose plants, perched himself on the pots like a seasoned hunter, and waited… perfectly still… perfectly focused.
Fresh music, bold entertainment, and men’s fashion—one tight email a week.
Then — in true Sylvester fashion — he pounced, snaring the rat in about 14 seconds flat.
A local legend was born.
