Last Night, ‘DWTS‘ Celebrated 20 Yrs W/ Tom Bergeron, Impeccable Scores, & An Undeniable Robert Irwin & Xochitl Chem.

Tom Bergeron returned to DWTS for its 20th anniversary, while Andy Richter and Emma Slater were eliminated in a packed ballroom showdown.

Last night was litty and bonkers in the ballroom.

Tuesday night brought out six OG Pro mirrorball champions to kick things off with a high-voltage opening number. And then—drumroll—the one of one, Tom Bergeron made his guest judge debut, marking his first return to the ballroom since his controversial 2020 firing. (Yes, the ballroom legend is back, and the crowd felt it.)

There was an undeniable Disney-esque, innocent joyous chemistry between youngins Robert Irwin and Xochitl Chem. Their energy? Pure sparkle. (Robert’s been a fan fave since week one, and Xochitl’s been serving radiant charm with every paso doble.)

Oh yeah—and it was a 20th Happy Bday to Dancing With the Stars! This week’s episode paid homage to the show itself, with a stellar, confetti-worthy party. (The series first premiered June 1, 2005, and has racked up over 30 seasons.)

Unfortunately, as always, someone’s gotta go. At the end of the evening, Andy Richter and Emma Slater were eliminated from the competition. We love Andy to the most. But that’s the play of the game.

Meanwhile, we’re still trying to figure out one Mormon Wives competitor from thee other. (The sister wives saga continues to confuse—but entertain.)

Obviously, since day one it’s been Team Robbie. So we’re conjuring up our infamous green fairy goldust spells and sending all the hopes to him and Whitney Carson. (Whitney previously won Season 19 with Alfonso Ribeiro and remains a fan-favorite pro.)

The ballroom was jam-packed with so much genuinely legendary action. Dig it all out below!

Did Tom’s return hit you in the nostalgia? Are you Team Robbie or Team Robbie & Xochitl? Drop your ballroom bets below.
