We’re officially strutting off 2026 awards season with today’s 83rd annual Golden Globes!
The Hollywood Foreign Press Association shall honor the best in television and film tonight. This year, all titles must’ve been unleashed between January 1 thru December 31, 2025 to qualify for nomination. (As always, the Globes kick off the first major checkpoint of the season before SAG and the Oscars roll in.)
In the film categories, One Battle After Another leads with nine nominations, including Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, Best Director, and Best Actor and Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy. (The film’s been gaining traction across critics’ lists, making tonight a potential sweep moment.)
