Pop boy David Archuleta maybe 28 years old and a part of thee seventh season hall of fame of American Idol, dating back to 2008, but that hasn’t stopped the vocal belter from putting the finishing touches to his seventh album.
Scheduled to unravel next year in 2020, David has unleashed the first teaser taste. His first video single is entitled “Paralyzed”. A midtempo power-pop anthem that has multiple dimensions and textures to the song. All of which we can relate too with mister Archuleta all too well:

“[It’s] a bit of a venting song,” David spills. “I get frustrated watching myself hesitate so much, and not let go of things from the past that I know I should. A lot of those past things are fears, anger, resentment, and I see how they all form excuses in my mind of why I can’t move forward. I watch as missed opportunities fly by and I just do nothing because I freeze. It gets me so frustrated! This song is the battle with those paralyzing thoughts and I intend to be the victor.”
