Stuart Price is an English electronic musician, DJ, songwriter and producer whose own records and aliases sit alongside a major production career. Raised in Reading, he began releasing music in the 1990s as Les Rythmes Digitales, later recording and performing with Zoot Woman and using aliases including Jacques Lu Cont and Thin White Duke. His production and remix work with Madonna, The Killers, Pet Shop Boys, Kylie Minogue and others brought multiple Grammy Awards, while albums such as Darkdancer established a substantial artist identity separate from his behind-the-scenes credits.
Before some people clocked his name in Madonna’s Confessions II liner notes, Stuart Price had already shaped dance-pop history through Les Rythmes Digitales, Jacques Lu Cont, Thin White Duke, Zoot Woman, and the original Confessions sound.
