St. Vincent is the stage name of American singer-songwriter, guitarist and producer Annie Clark. After early work with The Polyphonic Spree and Sufjan Stevens, she launched her solo career with Marry Me in 2007 and built an adventurous catalog spanning art rock, electronic pop, funk and jagged guitar music. Strange Mercy, the Grammy-winning St. Vincent, MASSEDUCTION, Daddy’s Home and All Born Screaming each reinvented her sonic and visual language. Clark’s intricate guitar playing, controlled vocals and conceptual approach have made St. Vincent one of contemporary art rock’s most distinctive figures.
