LA Priest

LA Priest is the solo project of English musician Sam Eastgate, formerly known as Sam Dust and recognized as the frontman of Late of the Pier. Eastgate began releasing music as LA Priest in 2007 and signed with Domino in 2015. His catalog moves between electronic pop, art pop, indie pop and guitar-led psychedelia, taking shape across Inji (2015), GENE (2020), Fase Luna (2023) and the La Fusion EP (2024). Recorded after Eastgate was stranded in Mexico, Fase Luna foregrounded guitar and oceanic imagery. On August 28, 2026, LA Priest released Into The Sky, a fourth album co-written, co-produced and mixed with Boys Noize.
