Diane Warren

Diane Warren is an American songwriter from Van Nuys, Los Angeles, whose emotionally direct pop compositions have been recorded by artists including Cher, Céline Dion, Aerosmith, Whitney Houston, Toni Braxton and Lady Gaga. Her writing credits include “Rhythm of the Night,” “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now,” “Because You Loved Me,” “How Do I Live,” “Un-Break My Heart” and “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing.” Warren was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2001 and received the organization’s Johnny Mercer Award in 2024. She has earned 17 Academy Award nominations, won a Grammy, and received an Honorary Oscar in 2022. She also stepped into a performing role with her 2021 album, Diane Warren: The Cave Sessions, Vol. 1.
