Demob Happy are an English alternative-rock band formed in Newcastle upon Tyne and later based in Brighton. Built around Matt Marcantonio, Thomas Armstrong and Adam Godfrey, the group developed a heavy, psychedelic sound through relentless live work and the 2015 debut Dream Soda. Holy Doom and Divine Machines sharpened their blend of grunge, stoner rock and hooky psychedelia, while 2026’s The Grown-Ups Are Talking continued a career defined by muscular riffs, layered vocals and an intentionally unruly live presence.
