Crystal Waters is an American singer-songwriter whose distinctive voice became a defining sound of 1990s house music. Raised in New Jersey and Washington, D.C., she broke internationally with 1991’s “Gypsy Woman (She’s Homeless),” followed by enduring dance hits including “100% Pure Love” and “Relax.” Later collaborations such as “Destination Calabria” introduced her vocals to new generations of club listeners.
