Caribou is the primary recording project of Canadian electronic musician and producer Dan Snaith. He began releasing music around 2000 under the name Manitoba before adopting Caribou in 2004, developing a warm, psychedelic electronic sound that blends samples, live instrumentation, house, pop and club music. Albums including Andorra, Swim, Our Love, Suddenly and Honey trace a career built on continual reinvention, while Snaith’s more club-focused Daphni alias gives his dance-floor instincts a separate outlet.
Caribou brought one of the most intense light shows INYIM has seen to Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles, filling the room with electronic movement, nightlife energy and a few Daphni moments.
