Twen had lived that sunny, looking-out-the-window van-life. A grassroots-type band that evolved out of the music coast scenes of the world.
Coming together in 2017, they’ve cultivated a jazzy and unique blend of shoegaze, indie rock, and post-punk inspirations.
The tunes are, from the jumpstart, hypnotizing and extra catchy. In our music imaginations—which allow us to see potential for any and all music to serve a multitude of platforms—TWEN has delivered something commercial-ready, à la Apple or some kind of yummy food brand.
Bass infectious, guitar riffs magnetic, and vocal capabilities that are instant s’wonderful earworms. A starburst of bomp-pop personality and charm, led by the songbird Jane Fitzsimmons.
The accompanying official music video visuals, directed by Fitzsimmons herself, are full of bombastic, innate, and raw energy fun. Dancing, but none of that soulless robotic vertical jumping-up-down clown antics. This is one for the club kids. One for the music lovers of rock ‘n’ roll and party.
