Some pasts refuse to stay buried — and in Kill Jackie, Catherine Zeta-Jones has exactly the kind that comes back with a hit squad.
AMC+ unveiled the official trailer for the new revenge thriller on September 2, with Zeta-Jones starring as Jackie Price, a woman who has spent the last 20 years travelling the world, selling fine art and staying anonymous after escaping a dangerous former life as an international drug smuggler. That carefully built existence detonates when she learns The Seven Demons — a squad of ruthless assassins — have been hired to kill her.

Running is apparently not Jackie’s preferred survival strategy. Believing somebody from her past is behind the contract, she decides to turn the chase around and take down the Demons one by one before they can get to her. The series is based on The Price You Pay by Nick Harkaway, writing as Aidan Truhen, and comes from creatives whose credits include Killing Eve and Gangs of London.
Zeta-Jones also serves as an executive producer on the series. Damon Thomas is lead director, with Tom Butterworth serving as writer and showrunner. The pair co-created the adaptation with Conor Keane and Peter Lawson, while Fremantle and Steel Springs Pictures co-produced the eight-part series.
And the cast is stacked around her. Daniel Ings, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Bill Paterson, Ron Perlman, Óscar Jaenada, Hattie Hook, Darci Shaw, Raff Law, Enzo Cilenti, Christine Adams and more enter Jackie’s increasingly dangerous orbit.
Kill Jackie premieres Friday, October 2, 2026, exclusively on AMC+ in the U.S., with new episodes arriving weekly. Eight episodes, seven assassins and one Catherine Zeta-Jones who clearly has no intention of going quietly. That math works for us.
