P!NK’s 2009 Australian run became one of the country’s biggest tours ever — 58 sold-out shows, massive crowds and one seriously acrobatic pop-rock spectacle.

The concert release draws from P!NK’s July 17 and 18, 2009 shows in Sydney and captures a set packed with songs including “So What,” “Sober,” “Please Don’t Leave Me,” “U + Ur Hand,” “Who Knew,” “Just Like a Pill,” “Get the Party Started” and the breathtaking “Glitter in the Air.”
And this was not just another tour stop filmed for posterity. Australia went absolutely feral for P!NK during the Funhouse run.
Australia Turned the Funhouse Tour Into a Record-Breaking Phenomenon
What began as a much smaller Australian itinerary exploded under demand into 58 sold-out shows across the country. Contemporary tour reports put attendance at more than 660,000 fans, while later Live Nation figures cited more than 670,000.
Melbourne alone got 17 sold-out shows at Rod Laver Arena. Sydney received 12 shows, and Brisbane 11. By any reasonable measure, P!NK did not simply tour Australia in 2009 — she practically moved in.
The resulting Funhouse Tour: Live in Australia release landed later that year on DVD and Blu-ray, preserving the enormous staging, live band, theatrical production and airborne physicality that helped turn P!NK into one of her generation’s defining live performers.

The Funhouse era hit a sweet spot in her catalog: enough early hits to make the show feel like a victory lap, enough newer material to keep it dangerous, and enough confidence for P!NK to treat an arena like equal parts rock show, circus tent and personal playground.
And yes, plenty of pop stars can sing while moving. P!NK somehow decided that was not difficult enough and made flying over the audience part of the job description.
