Rewatch: Boom Boom Boom Boom! Vengaboys Live At Qmusic Foute Party 2026

Vengaboys brought their late-’90s Eurodance energy to Qmusic Foute Party — The Big One at Philips Stadion in Eindhoven, performing “We’re Going to Ibiza!,” “We Like to Party! (The Vengabus)” and “Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom!!” in a 12-minute set that turned the stadium into a giant nostalgia-fueled dance floor.

As summer begins winding down, we are transporting ourselves back—not to 1997, but to the gloriously unserious dance-pop universe of 1998. That was the year Vengaboys officially released “Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom!!”, a song engineered to make personal restraint feel both unnecessary and faintly suspicious.

The Dutch party act revived that energy at Qmusic Foute Party — The Big One on June 20, 2026, performing inside Philips Stadion in Eindhoven, Netherlands. The event marked the largest edition of Qmusic’s long-running celebration of nostalgic hits, shameless singalongs and songs everybody claims are guilty pleasures despite knowing every word.

Qmusic’s official performance video runs just over 12 minutes and captures Vengaboys delivering a compact three-song rush of crowd-tested chaos: “We’re Going to Ibiza!,” “We Like to Party! (The Vengabus)” and, naturally, “Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom!!”

It is less a setlist than a concentrated dose of late-’90s muscle memory. The melodies arrive, the crowd recognizes its assignment and suddenly an enormous football stadium is operating under the emotional laws of a fluorescent nightclub.

“Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom!!” was officially released in October 1998 and became one of Vengaboys’ defining singles. The track later reached No. 1 in the Netherlands and topped the UK singles chart in 1999, giving the group a chorus sturdy enough to survive decades of parties, weddings, karaoke emergencies and every DJ who understands the value of immediate recognition.

The appeal was never mystery or subtlety. Vengaboys built their kingdom with bright hooks, cartoon-sized personalities and a total refusal to behave as though dancing needed an intellectual defense. The songs tell you where the party is, how to get there and approximately how much furniture may need to be moved.

Qmusic created the correct environment for that philosophy. Foute Party began two decades earlier on a much smaller scale before expanding into “The Big One” at Philips Stadion, where Vengaboys joined a lineup featuring fellow nostalgia magnets including 3T, Toy-Box, K3, K-otic and Melanie C.

The group does not treat these songs as delicate museum pieces. They remain working party equipment—built to be shouted, bounced through and shared with several thousand strangers who suddenly remember exactly who they were when the chorus first arrived.

So yes, rewatch it. The Vengabus is back in town, the room is still available and the boom remains impressively resistant to the passage of time.
