Fresh Faced Model Ruslan has one of those looks that does not simply photograph—it pulls focus. In “The It Boy of Versailles,” photographer Kiana Beijleveld catches that allure in full, placing him inside a palace-garden fantasy styled and art-directed by Miguel Herrera for an exclusive FY Magazine! Online editorial.

The story treats aristocratic dress codes less like history and more like a toy box. Pearls stack against bare skin, lace turns transparent, sleeves swell to cartoonish scale and pink heels land beneath trousers, shorts and hoop-skirt volume. Nothing behaves exactly as menswear is supposedly meant to—and Ruslan looks completely at home in thee beautiful rebellion.

Herrera’s wardrobe pulls from a wide cast of independent and established labels, including Rubearth, Ugo Boulard, Pablo Madueño, Victor von Schwarz, Dominnico, Opening Ceremony, Blumarine, Capitulo Dos Lab, Morjas, Falke, Paula Palos De La Rosa, Majorica and Joan Llorens i Font. The mix moves from white sculptural dressing and pale-blue layers to pink faux fur, oversized hats, embellished jumpsuits and enough jewelry to make minimalism file a formal complaint.

Ruslan gives every transformation its own temperature. He can look withdrawn and storybook-soft curled beside the fountain, then sharpen into a haughty young royal beneath a ruffled hat or a sculptural white sleeve. The camera keeps returning to his face because the clothes may build the fantasy, but his expression decides whether the court is dreamy, bored or one wrong glance away from a tiny scandal.

The complete creative team keeps the fantasy precise without making it feel overworked. Beijleveld’s slightly nostalgic framing gives the photographs the texture of discovered fashion prints, while Herrera’s styling turns pearls, lace, faux fur and exaggerated volume into a single coherent character. Photo assistants Calvin and Anne supported the shoot, with makeup and hair by Zyla.
