INYIM Media Fashion outdoor relaxation takes us into Filipe Augusto’s Spring/Summer 2022 collection, starring model Martim Letria and photographed by Miguel Flor.

Shot outdoors in tall grass, water, open roads and late-afternoon light, the lookbook gives Augusto’s relaxed menswear room to breathe. Soft tailoring, cropped proportions, underwear-as-daywear and easy layers move through the countryside without losing the collection’s sharp little quirks.

Augusto’s SS22 work drew from the visual memory of his rural Portuguese hometown: local festivities, hot summers, saturated patterns and the everyday clothes of people whose lives remain closely tied to farming, home and the Douro River. He translated that source material into menswear that feels personal rather than nostalgic for nostalgia’s sake.

The collection also continued the designer’s sustainability-minded approach, incorporating deadstock fabrics and treating resourcefulness as part of the design language rather than a separate talking point. That balance comes through here: polished, playful and grounded, but never overworked.

And then there is Letria, photographed with the kind of unforced presence that suits the whole exercise. One moment the clothes read almost pastoral; the next they snap back into something much more fashion-aware. That push and pull is what keeps the set from becoming just another pretty countryside lookbook.
