Nicholas Galitzine Is He-Man in First Sneak Peek ‘Masters of the Universe’ Live-Action Adaptation

The first Masters of the Universe trailer is here with Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man. The Amazon MGM live-action reboot hits theaters June 5, 2026.

It’s finally here. Thee first official trailer for He-Man is upon us, starring the uber talented — and yes, one of the sexiest, if not THEE hottest — young Hollywood legend-in-the-making, Nicholas Galitzine.

Via Amazon MGM Studios, the live-action adaptation of Masters of the Universe is officially powering up, with Galitzine stepping into the role of Prince Adam / He-Man, an athlete-like sword-swinging superhero with destiny in one hand and the Sword of Power in the other.

Directed by Travis Knight, the movie is based on Mattel’s iconic 1980s toy line — the one that spawned comic books, an animated series, and basically an entire childhood’s worth of battle cries.

Masters of the Universe hits theaters on June 5, 2026, and the trailer makes it clear: this isn’t a “wink-wink” reboot. It’s big, bold, and ready to go full Eternia.

Synopsis-wise, the story sees Prince Adam returning to Eternia, ready with his Sword of Power — and once he transforms into He-Man, he and his he-pals (including Teela played by Camila Mendes, and Duncan / Man-At-Arms played by Idris Elba) battle against the evil Skeletor (played by Jared Leto).

“Some trailers whisper. This one kicks the door in and yells: I HAVE THE POWER.”
