  • “Spike Island” was inspired by the historic 1990 concert by The Stone Roses at Spike Island in Widnes, Cheshire.
  • The song features a combination of synths, violin, and slide guitar, produced by James Ford.
  • Lyrically, the idea for “Spike Island” came from Jason Buckle, who co-wrote the song and attended the original Spike Island gig.
