The list of 14 class nominees to be considered also includes eight first-timers (Bad Company, The Black Crowes, Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker, Billy Idol, Maná, Outkast, and Phish.) To be eligible for a nomination, the artist or band must have released its first commercial recording at least 25 years before the year of nomination.
