Whoo-Hoo! Critics Choice Awards Set New Date. Feb. 7, In Santa Monica, Amid Los Angeles Fires After Postponed Twice.
The show was originally scheduled to take place Jan. 14 and air live on E!. But due to the wildfires raging across Los Angeles, it was postponed to Jan. 26 until the ceremony was pushed again. It’s now scheduled for Feb. 7.
The event is still set to be held at Barker Hangar, which is located just a few miles from the Pacific Palisades where thousands have been evacuated and many homes destroyed. Along with a separate fire that is ravaging the Pasadena-Altadena area.
Our favorite comedy queen of all queens Chelsea Handler is hosting the awards show for the third consecutive year. Unfortunately there will no longer be a live red carpet from E! ahead of the telecast.
But nonetheless, we’ll be watching. Stay tuned for all the memorable moments following on February 8th!
