September 30, 2010 is a significant date because it marks the 55th anniversary of the death of James Dean. We all know his film career was short-lived. Including the infamous “Rebel Without A Cause”, “Giant”, and “East of Eden”.

Dean ultimately became an icon after his pre-mature death at the young age of 24 after crashing his vehicle. Speed racing was his passion, as well as acting. Here we Dean in a shot taken in 1955 with his Porsche 550 Spyder. James shows why he is not only a silver-screen prince but a style trendsetter as well.

“Dream as if you’ll live forever, live as if you’ll die today” – James Dean
