One of this years fresh faced top models of the year, Arizona Muse, has landed her first major gig as the face of legendary brand Yves Saint Laurent’s spring 2011 ad campaign. It’s being reported via WWD and fashionista.
“Muse was shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin in the gardens of Bled Roknine, a ’30s style villa in Marrakech. YSL’s connection to Morocco is well known. The designer bought the Majorelle botanical gardens in Marrackech in 1980 with his partner Pierre Barge. The gardens served as a source of inspiration to Saint Laurent, and his ashes were scattered there when he died in 2008. An exhibition of Saint Laurent’s Morrocan-inspired looks are currently on display there.”
