The 1960’s were filled with decadency all around. One prime example in fashion, was the birthing of the “Nehru Jacket”. Inspired by India’s Prime Minister in the 60’s, Sir Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, these jackets became a staple in every stylish men’s wardrobe.

Its success was triumphant due in part to its heavy hippie/bohemian trends that were already sweeping across various nations. Manifesting itself throughout the years, the Nehru jacket aesthetically blended well with the Mod clothing of the era. Later becoming a classic staple for the likes of myself and all dandy men everywhere.
