This groovy tune is an electronic dance disco pop gem with a sprinkle of r&b/funk, and Nick has set up a perfect infrastructure for what seems to be quite a year ahead for him. We are impatiently waiting for the release of Nick’s sohpmore effort, and if the first two single’s, “Level’s” and “Close featruing Tove Lo are exact indications where this next record will travel sonically, then we are ready to over indulge and shuffle on repeat the future release of “Last Year Was Complicated.”
