Madonna is apparently ready to tell some more Bedtime Stories.
Zephyring 30 years! The Queen of Pop’s sixth studio album turns three decades old, and she’s marking the milestone with a reissue that features demos, alternate versions, and rarities.

The 8-track EP, officially entitled Bedtime Stories — The Untold Chapter, shall unleash on November 28. It’s a sonic time capsule that traces the evolution of Madonna’s R&B-flavored wings, first spread in 1994 following the provocative whirlwind of Erotica. This was a palette cleanser on all ends for Madge—less leather, more lush.
The original Bedtime Stories gave us soulful grandness in the form of singles like “Secret,” “Human Nature,” and “Take a Bow.” Now, the reissue dives deeper with unreleased gems like:
- “Right On Time” – Original Demo Edit
- “Let Down Your Guard” – Rough Single Mix
- “Love Won’t Wait” – Demo once shelved, later recorded by Gary Barlow
- “Freedom” – Short Mix from a 1997 rainforest benefit album
Madonna collaborated with Stuart Price (of Confessions on a Dance Floor fame) to shape the EP, editing and mixing previously unreleased versions into a cohesive new chapter. The artwork features never-before-seen images from a 1994 shoot by Paolo Roversi, originally used for the “Bedtime Story” single.
The EP will be available digitally, on limited black vinyl, and as part of a deluxe 2CD edition that includes the original album, the new EP, and a 20-page booklet of lyrics and illustrations. A silver vinyl reissue of the original Bedtime Stories album will also drop the same day.
Scope out the first release with the single “Right On Time”, now streaming on Madonna’s official website.
