Well, talk about taking one for the team. U.S. bobsledder Kris Horn was the lone man standing — or shall we say sitting. A very woopsie‑oopsie moment took place in Switzerland this past Sunday.
The American bobsledder unfortunately went for a solo World Cup run after his teammates missed the sled.
He went right down the track in St. Moritz, Switzerland after teammates Ryan Rager, Hunter Powell and Caleb Furnell all had trouble at the start, leaving him to navigate the course with no other weight in the sled and nobody to pull the brakes at the bottom.
Fresh music, bold entertainment, and men’s fashion—one tight email a week.
Ryan Rager was first to take a sad tumble, and the snowball effect took over.
None of them suffered serious injuries. It shall be noted that without any weight in the sled, Horn still went down the track reaching 75 mph during the run. It finished in just over a minute.
For context: St. Moritz is the only natural‑ice track on the World Cup circuit, making any run — let alone a solo one — extra wild.
