One of Our All-Time Favorites in a Silver Screen Dynamite Spectacular The 1967 musical film “Thoroughly Modern Millie,” sung by the one and only Miss Carol Channing, remains a technicolor triumph.

Starring as the unforgettable Muzzy Van Hossmere, Carol performed the show-stopping number “Jazz Baby.” Though not the lead, her radiant presence stole scenes and earned her a Golden Globe Award and an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress.

A true original. A dazzling dynamo. A genuine genius with that “IT” factor you simply can’t learn. Bravo-bravissima to the eternal great Carol Channing!
