
Deborah Norville may have just stepped away from the Inside Edition anchor seat after an extraordinary 30-year run. Now, she’s set to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2025 Daytime Emmy Awards on October 17.
The announcement was made today. Deborah—who happens to be a Daytime Emmy Award-nominated and two-time News & Documentary Emmy Award-winning journalist—leaves behind a legacy as the longest-serving female anchor in American television history.
Her final episode of Inside Edition aired on May 21, 2025, marking the end of an era. Deborah originally joined the program in 1995, following her tenure as a correspondent and anchor at CBS News.
