It’s been a looong time coming. Since making his debut in the 1960s, Harrison Ford has now been named the main man of 2026’s SAG‑AFTRA Life Achievement Award.
The award — rebranded as the Actor’s Awards (previously known as the SAG Awards) — shall all go down on Sunday, March 1, 2026.
Ford joins a legendary roster of past recipients including Helen Mirren, Robert De Niro, and Sally Field. The honor recognizes career achievement and humanitarian contributions, and Ford’s six‑decade run from Star Wars to Indiana Jones makes him a natural fit.
